54mm WWII Riflewoman 'Platerowka'

During the World War II, a Polish female support unit (1 Samodzielny Battalion Kobiecy im. Emilii Plater) was formed in Polish 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division. It was named in honor of Polish heroine- Emilie Plater. There are not a lot reports about using this unit in line, but they were fight during siege of Kolberg, for example.

I sculpted this figure inspired by a cover of short novel from ’70 about this female battalion.

This is an unpleasant situation, but it seems that this figure was stolen from the exhibition table during one of the European model competition a few years ago..
